The “secret” to becoming and remaining in shape is frequently made too complicated by passing fitness trends and fad diets. According to Denise Austin, there is really just one easy thing you need to do to stay active. The 67-year-old fitness teacher revealed the secret in a recent Instagram post.

She captioned the image, “Be consistent! It’s the number one secret to getting and staying fit.” People often ask her this question. For instance, if you hop from one skincare routine to another or skip too many days without using it, you won’t see improvements.

Austin suggests using her Denise Austin Fitness app, which contains the exact exercises and recipes that she uses “day in and day out.”Of course, you need to begin in order to be consistent, and Austin’s suggestions for finding the motivation to exercise are similarly straightforward.

“Keep it simple—even a brief eight to ten minute exercise is fantastic,” she posted on Instagram. “Ensure that it is convenient for you—the most effective exercise is the one you are actually going to do,” she went on to say. And then, she wrote: “Schedule it!”. “Writing it down on your calendar makes it more likely that you will actually do it.”
