Taking this glass-domed train across the Rocky Mountains from Colorado to Utah is an incredible experience

A new luxury train will soon be ferrying tourists, allowing them to glide through breathtaking scenery in the American Southwest.

The two-day journey from Denver, Colorado to Moab, Utah—two locations known for their breathtaking scenery—will be aptly called the “Rockies to the Red Rocks” route. Glenwood Springs, a quiet Colorado town famous for its hot springs, will be an overnight stop on the route.

Thanks to the train’s most distinctive feature – large glass dome windows – passengers will be able to see rushing rivers, desert cliffs and mountain landscapes from every angle throughout the journey. Assuming you get tired of the scenery, you can always enjoy the delectable food and lively bars on board. The tour’s organizer, Rocky Mountaineer, operated three premium trains in Western Canada.

“The search for a new route has been underway for several years,” said Steve Sammut, president and CEO of Rocky Mountaineer. “We needed to find a special location with many of the same qualities we have in Western Canada: incredible scenery, iconic destinations and options for full-day, multi-day journeys that The best experience is by train.”

Steve added: “The coronavirus pandemic has had a devastating impact on the tourism industry and there is still uncertainty about when travel will recover.” “However, we are confident that American travelers and those from around the world will be eager to explore this region by rail with us, and we look forward to welcoming them in 2021 and beyond. ”
