Tracee Ellis Ross talks about mantras, skin massage and keeping your skin beautiful

Thank you for Tracee Ellis Ross being completely unafraid to speak her mind. Especially when it comes to her beauty regimen, we can all benefit from her bravery. Her eight million Instagram followers have seen her document everything from makeup-free days to doing her own hair, experimenting with neon eyeshadow, facial massagers that look like puppets and countless more. vibrant lipstick, among other things.

She takes a holistic approach to healthy skin, including getting some shut-eye.

Getting enough sleep is the first step to beautiful skin. Despite the pandemic, I can still rest. Hitting eight hours is my goal. Each person has their own unique number; that’s mine. You’d be surprised at how much water I drink. In my opinion, the secret to radiant skin is moisturizing – both inside and out.

She is a huge fan of wearing masks and has made wearing them a ritual.

A truly great mask! I use them very well. To get the most out of your mask, I like to wash my face thoroughly, apply the mask, and then soak in a hot bath, as this will open up your pores and allow the mask to penetrate deeper. Once I get out of the tub, I’ll apply a new mask or a different type of mask, then massage it in until it’s wet and slippery. Just give it another ten to fifteen minutes. Before a big event, I like to mask twice or do multiple masks in one day.

She is dedicated to exfoliating regularly.

“In my opinion, clean and exfoliated skin is essential. To clean my hair, I use a delicate Clarisonic comb. Pure enzyme gel is something I use every seven days. It’s soft and lightweight , not rough or anything. It’s very soft and delicate even though I don’t use an exfoliator but I always make sure to wash it off.
